
The first of the two races of the Moto GP in Italy is characterised by the presence of the 23 years old rider of CRP Racing Riccardo Moretti that raced with the wild card condition, and obtained 26° place with his Honda 125 of the Italian team led by Giampiero Testoni.
The practice session at Mugello was not so exciting, it was heavy rainy.
Friday test session carried out with rainy weather confirmed Moretti at 25° place, the fastest rider among the other riders wild card.
On Saturday CRP Racing had problems with the setting due to bad weather, and the rider was forced to race with bike and this difficulty was not good for Riccardo Moretti that achieved the next to the last line, nevertheless he had the fastest lap of (225,1km/h).
On Sunday the race was to be considered quite good for Riccardo, taking into account that it was his first performance at Moto GP.
The rider conquered the 26th place after challing his contenders.
Moreover, 13 riders left the race due to fall. Riccardo did a good race and the Honda of CRP Racing was the best one.
This represent an excellent training experience for Ricky that he will spend in the Italian Championship.
