Great performance of CRP Racing team on Mugello track, during the fifth race of the MotoGP.
Davide Stirpe, rider managed by ADV Racing and riding the Italian CRP Racing bike, started the race at the 26th position, preceding many other skilled riders that took part at the MotoGP since the first race.
Unfortunately, the raining morning made the worse track conditions and Davide was not able to repeat the same time achieved during the test.
At the end of an hard fought and demanding race, the Italian rider Davide got the 21st position. But for the CRP Racing team the biggest result was the considerable increase of the race timing.
During the entire week-end CRP team used the new engine, with a very good reliability (there were no problem at all) and a good top speed, as proved by the seventeenth full-speed gained on more than 30 riders.
Davide: “it was really exciting to race on Mugello track for the MotoGP. I’ve increased my experience without many mistakes. The other MotoGP riders are very skilled and I’ll exploit this wonderful experience in MotoGP for the upcoming races of the CIV, starting from next Sunday at Vallelunga circuit. I would like to thank you the entire team for the incredible opportunity they gave me and for the competitive set-up of the bike”
Now, the whole CRP Racing Team will be at Vallelunga circuit, where next Sunday will race the third race for the CIV 2009, first goal for the Italian team this year.
