CRP Racing was established in December 2006, as CRP Technology’s Racing Department. Its first goal was to bring its innovative way of working into a very conservative world: the Motorcycling Racing World.
From 2007 CRP Racing has become an independent identity with a management and a racing team that develops the motorcycle Honda RS125 for the Italian Road Racing Championship, the Honda Trophy and a few wild-cards in the Italian races of MotoGP.
In 2008 CRP Racing started to study and develop two-stroke engine equipped with front disc valve based on Honda engine.
In 2010 CRP Racing has become the first Italian constructor of electric motorcycle for the World Championship TTXGP that has an International race calendar from North America, to Europe.
CRP Racing has begun this experience giving life to
eCRP, a high-profile motorcycle with a strong racing look that can be ridden by men, women and young riders for its shape.
Launched for the first time on 13 January 2010 in Birmingham together with the Minister for Science and Innovation the Italian two-wheel achieved important results in 2010 and 2011 racing the world electric championships TTXGP and FIM e-Power. CRP Racing continues its innovating path with the development of
Energica, the first Italian concept of electric streetbike presented at the international exhibition Eicma in 2011.
